ABOUT DANCE NE SCOTLAND
Dance NE Scotland is a Dance School run by David Robinson who has been teaching in the area since 1992.
Tuition in Ballroom, Latin American, Modern and Classical (Old Time) Sequence is offered through regular Group Classes or private lessons.
In addition to offering these services, David works closely with the Active Schools Coordinator for Aberdeenshire Council in the Banff area, providing tuition and enjoyment to pupils at the Primary Schools covered by the Banff Academy catchment area.
We are here to help you from your first steps and can help you choose the style of dance that best suits your requirements and lifestyle. Many people find such pleasure and enjoyment in dancing, and the social interaction it provides, that they become hooked and go dancing many times per week. In addition, it is a pleasing way of keeping fit and active and, as such, appeals to people from all age groups and walks of life.
In addition to the tuition, regular Social evenings are provided enabling attendees to practise their skills and make new friends.
Three Old Time dances are organised per year and, in addition, a regular end of year Social Dance is held on the last Thursday before Christmas.
Whether you are someone who has never danced before, want to dance better, want to dance at a wedding / function, or just want to avoid treading on your partner’s toes there is something here for you.
